From Federal stock, we are able to offer you this very well-maintained "Vitek 2 Compact" system from the world-renowned brand bioMérieux, first-hand.

As a fully automated system for the rapid detection of pathogens and resistance patterns, the Vitek 2 system has become indispensable in virtually every medical laboratory worldwide!

The system was acquired in 2013 by a government entity and has seen very limited use. It has been continuously inspected and serviced under a maintenance contract—the last inspection and servicing occurred up to 08/2023. The device was taken out of service in fully functional condition at the end of 2022 due to new acquisition.

All components are in excellent visual and technical condition, with no damages—minor scratches and discoloration of the housing are due to normal use and do not affect functionality in any way.

The VITEK 2 system provides everything health laboratories need for rapid and accurate microbial identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing.

The system is used for microbiological identification of animal-origin pathogens. It enables fast and precise antibiotic susceptibility testing and detection of resistance. The automated system performs susceptibility testing the same day (results in as little as 5 hours, based on clinical study data). This considerably improves workflow in veterinary medical laboratories and optimizes clinical veterinary microbiology.

The VITEK 2 system offers an extensive range of key susceptibility tests for veterinary diagnostics, characterized by high performance and the ability to detect even low-level resistance and new resistance mechanisms (AmpC, ESBL, MBL, etc.). The software is also updated annually to implement any taxonomy developments or changes in guidelines.

The VITEK 2 disposable cards are sealed to prevent contamination during the filling of the bacterial suspension.
