Function
The output voltage, which can be continuously adjusted by hand via a rotary knob, is directly supplied to the excitation coils of the test core. This creates an electromagnetic field in the air gap of the test core that is as homogeneous as possible, enabling characterization of core materials inserted into the air gap.

The core test system is primarily operated via the control and display elements located on the front panel of the test cart.
