The Multi Vision high-resolution inspection system focuses on the finest color deviations as well as both light and dark color defects.

The patented PROsize technology sorts products and foreign materials that are the same color as quality product using size characteristics. The unit is equipped with near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) technology for visual analysis of colors. This enables the sorter to detect defective pieces or foreign objects of any color, including black. It also allows for detection of color defects.

The machine features a new optical sorter that achieves up to 50% higher reject concentrations. SpectraVision has been engineered to deliver maximum yield.

The newly designed internal full-color cameras provide the highest color resolution even for the smallest color defects, while the new InGaAs cameras take foreign material (FM) detection to a new level.

Innovative ejection algorithms significantly minimize false rejects, and new calibration and tracking algorithms improve machine consistency and reduce the number of false rejects. Default modes and product-specific programs are preset and tested by SORTEX experts for optimal setup straight out of the box.

The intuitive user interface and individual defect sensitivity control make it easy for operators to maintain optimal machine performance.

It is possible to monitor machine performance from anywhere in the world, in line with Industry 4.0 standards. Machine setting changes are logged and stored in the Bühler Insights system, and the SORTEX monitoring system enables sorting performance and real-time emergency warnings to be tracked.
