AMTEC WTIS HFFS 60 LID

Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes such as hygiene wipes, cleaning wipes, care wipes, and disinfectant wipes. The line consists of a wet wipes manufacturing unit, a flow-wrapping unit, and a unit for applying the resealable lid.

Wet wipes production process: Unwinding the nonwoven from 2 parent rolls and longitudinally cutting into 5 lanes per roll (up to the moistening stage) for high-speed production, longitudinal Z- or C-folding, moistening via multiple spray nozzles, cross-cutting (to adjust wipe length), stacking, and conveying to the packaging unit.

The flow-wrap packaging unit handles the feeding of wet wipes, film infeed and printing (hot stamping), punch perforation (for wipe removal), placement of the resealable label and, for example, a seal label (the integrated dual-lane labeller supports offset labelling), pouch cutting/heat-sealing, and onward conveyance to the lid application unit. The lid application unit is equipped with 2 lid magazines and a labeller. The lids are affixed to the pack by means of hot melt adhesive. The liquid supply system for moistening the wipes comprises 2 tanks with continuous agitators and a liquid recirculation unit.
