HAND GUARD is based on early detection of hazardous situations and thereby protects users from injuries. It functions reliably in all scenarios: The camera-based monitoring system first provides a visual warning to the operator of impending danger. If the hazard persists, the saw blade retracts without causing any damage to the machine or the material. HAND GUARD supports processing of various materials such as wood, metal, and plastics. • Non-contact, injury-free operation • Quick startup • 100% damage-free • Operates even with concealed cuts • Permanent function, no deactivation required • Max. 500 mm saw blade diameter, fully retractable under a single-sided tilting saw unit. Tilting range: 0 - 46°, fitted with a quick-change system for the main saw blade. Motorized height and tilt adjustment, with a maximum saw blade projection of 179 mm (partial removal of the scoring tool may be necessary). Additionally, operator-level control allows users to set the blade height and angle, as well as, depending on the control package, speed and other functions. The new, clean industrial design sets Altendorf apart: This sliding table saw combines distinctive design with timeless aesthetics. The Altendorf double roller carriage is renowned for its smooth movement and precise guidance, with stepless locking in any position. Large double rollers ensure the upper carriage remains true to the guide rails even after decades of heavy use and contamination. The carriage design is extremely torsion-resistant and dimensionally stable. Additionally, a front support roller 300 mm wide provides helpful support when cutting long workpieces with the rip fence, and can be positioned 90° under the double roller carriage.
