(2x) Climatic chambers for stability testing

The system for the storage of stability samples consists of 2 climatic chambers. The two climatic chambers are supplied via an electrical control cabinet and have separate wiring diagrams.

The basis of the climatic chambers are Viessmann refrigeration cells. The climatic chambers are identically dimensioned and equipped with stainless steel shelving.

The climatic chambers were previously connected to a data acquisition system, which is currently not available. However, integration into a building management system is generally possible and already prepared.

The complete system was decommissioned and finally qualified in 2024. Qualification documents can be provided upon request.

Delivery, installation, and technical service were carried out exclusively by ThermoTEC.

The client offers the units EXW
Ex Works 'from site', i.e., dismantling and loading of the units are the responsibility of the buyer.

The system essentially comprises:

- 2 constant climate chambers made of 80 mm PU panels, stainless steel floor, and single-leaf swing door with heated frame
- 2 chamber air conditioning modules comprising:
- Fans for air recirculation within the chamber
- Direct expansion coils with R404A refrigerant for cooling and dehumidification
- Electric resistance heaters 2*1.5 kW
- Cold steam inlet hoses from ultrasonic humidifiers
- 2 air-cooled condensing units for cooling and dehumidification of the climate chambers
- 2 ultrasonic humidifiers with a capacity of 1 kg/h
- Electrical control cabinet for regulation and control of the chambers

Recirculated air from the constant climate chambers is drawn in via the air-conditioning modules, conditioned, and blown out through the front panel. A temperature and humidity sensor installed in the intake zone transmits the current measured values of the sample compartment to the respective controllers of the climatic chambers.

Each control circuit (temperature/humidity) features a dedicated process controller on the front of the control cabinet. Depending on requirements, the controllers operate the following functions:

> HUMIDIFYING via ultrasonic humidifier
> DEHUMIDIFYING via refrigeration unit/direct expansion

Temperature and humidity control is fully automatic.
