Main applications of these systems are industrial plants and welding shops where it is not possible to implement source extraction, or where source extraction alone is insufficient to maintain air cleanliness in the facility.

Side-mounted channels with extraction points capture contaminated air and direct it to the filtration section. Here, fine dust particles accumulate on the surface of the cartridge filter. A pulse of compressed air cleans the cartridge filters automatically at pre-set intervals. When compressed air strikes, the particles collected on the filter surface are detached and fall into the dust collection bin.

The cleaned air returns to the work area via individually adjustable long-range nozzles. At the same time, the discharge of purified air directs the polluted hall air towards the extraction channels.

Filters are cleaned by a microprocessor controller with compressed air pulses during operation, ensuring high device efficiency. Low compressed air demand thanks to the 'Power-Spray' system.

The AIRTECH series is IFA-certified according to EN ISO 15012-1 or DIN EN ISO 21904-1/-2 and approved for welding fume class W3 as a stationary local exhaust welding fume extraction unit.
