The main application areas for these systems are industrial plants/welding shops where it is not possible to implement local extraction or where local extraction is insufficient to maintain air quality in the workshop.

Laterally mounted ducting with capture points draws in contaminated air and directs it to the filtration section. Here, contaminants in the form of fine particles accumulate on the surface of the cartridge filter.

A compressed air pulse cleans the cartridge filters automatically at preset intervals as required. When the compressed air pulse is triggered, the particles collected on the filter surfaces are detached and fall into the dust collection bin.

Cleaned air is returned to the workspace through individually adjustable long-range nozzles. At the same time, the outlet of the purified air directs the contaminated hall air towards the extraction ducts.

The filter is cleaned by a microprocessor-controlled system using compressed air pulses during operation, ensuring high device efficiency. Low compressed air consumption thanks to the “Power-Spray” system.

The AIRTECH series devices are IFA-certified according to EN ISO 15012-1 or DIN EN ISO 21904-1/-2 and approved for welding fume class W3 as permanent, stationary extraction units for welding fumes.
