1. General Description
The draw oil preparation system is designed for the optimal treatment of unprocessed tubes prior to the drawing process. A large-volume draw oil bath ensures homogeneous coverage of the tube surfaces. This guarantees consistent lubrication, reduces friction resistance during drawing, improves the surface quality of the tubes, and increases tool service life. A constant material flow and stable bath temperature and quality make this system a key step in efficient tube manufacturing.

3. Operating Principle
Immersion Bath & Media Preparation
• Uniform lubrication through complete coverage in the draw oil bath
• Tubes integrated into the tank walls serve to heat the oil via the waste heat recovery system (WHR) of the furnace
• Recirculation of reactive oil: Chemetall process, 12 cycles per hour
• Prevention of water pockets: Precisely metered water addition; compressed air injection as required
• Bath monitoring: Regular sampling
• Dosing station: Automatic replenishment (oil/water)
