For sale is a pre-owned temperature calibrator from the manufacturer Sika, based in Kaufungen (Made in Germany).
The device was used exclusively as a microbath/oil bath in our calibration laboratory and is no longer needed. No additional accessories are included, but these are available from the manufacturer. (Other measurement technology shown in the images is not part of the offer.)

Microbath Function
For calibrating temperature sensors with unusual shapes or dimensions, the use of calibration liquids offers advantages. The probe is immersed directly into the liquid, eliminating isolating air gaps and ensuring direct thermal contact between calibrator and test item. The choice of liquid, e.g., silicone oil, depends on the required calibration temperature. The infinitely adjustable magnetic stirrer and the removable sensor basket ensure effective circulation of the calibration liquid, creating a large measurement zone. Additionally, the sensor basket guarantees disturbance-free stirring and protects the tank base.
Dry block function
The dry block function was developed to enable easy temperature calibration both in the lab and in the field. Optimal thermal coupling between the insert block and the test item is achieved using the appropriate sleeve. Ideally, the bore in the sleeve is 0.5 mm larger than the outside diameter of the test item. With the use of sleeves, nearly all straight temperature sensors of various lengths and diameters can be calibrated. The dry block covers the full temperature range without requiring a change of calibration medium. The user does not need to consider viscosity, flash point, or outgassing.
Blackbody function
For calibrating IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras, a patented infrared calibration sleeve is used. The special surface texture and asymmetric shapes create a ‘black cavity radiator’ with an emissivity factor of 0.9994, preventing reflection of stray radiation and ensuring the target temperature is emitted in ideal form. The pyrometer is simply held at the required distance over the measurement opening, defining the desired measurement spot for calibration on the base. Direct mounting of a tripod is possible.
Surface temperature function
Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using special sleeves applied vertically with the required contact pressure. By switching the calibrator control to the external reference sensor, the best possible temperature reference point on the surface of the sleeve is achieved.
