2.1 Intended Use
The RFID read/write device RFU630-041xx is an intelligent 4Dpro sensor from the RFU6xx product family (UHF). Version (operating range): Long Range.
The stationary device automatically identifies radio-based data carriers (transponders) on moving or stationary objects. It also supports data carrier management.
The compact read/write device, using up to 4 external antennas, processes data from all standard passive transponders compliant with ISO/IEC 18000-6C and EPCglobal UHFC1G2 in the region-specific UHF carrier frequency range. The device does not contain an integrated (internal) antenna.
Intelligent process logic enables operation either as a stand-alone solution or in grouped network operation. The device sends reading results to a host computer via its host interface. The computer coordinates further data processing in the workflow.
Through its host interface, the device receives commands for data carrier management (write, read, etc.).
