The machine has been completely overhauled, including: inspection of components and repair/replacement of parts (gearbox, apron, tailstock, headstock); grinding of the spindle and replacement of spindle bearings; renewal of the bed and slideways (cross slide and tool slide); renewal of the leadscrews and manufacturing of new nuts; replacement of the entire electrical system; preparation of the machine for encoder installation for 3 axes; adaptation to current health and safety minimum requirements. In addition, new safety handles have been installed and new safety signs and pictograms affixed.
