Base Frame: The base frame of the thread and profile rolling machine is constructed from welded steel profiles, partially clad with sheet metal. The front section of the base houses the reservoir for process lubricant.

Main Drive: The main drive generates the rotational motion required for gear rolling. The drive motor is flange-mounted to the spindle bearing base plate via the Cyclo Drive gearbox. The rotary motion is transferred to the rolling spindle via a Schmidt coupling.
The machine operates within a speed range of 0 to 30 rpm, further subdivided into 0 to 20 rpm for continuous operation (S1), and 20 to 30 rpm for intermittent operation (S4). The speed is steplessly adjustable via a frequency inverter.
