This assembly line is a production line consisting of a total of three system modules, which are interconnected via conveyor belts. In the first segment, the individual consumables are fed in via rollers, folded, the nose clip integrated, welded, and subsequently cut to the correct length. The finished cut masks are transported via a step conveyor and transport belts to the next system modules, which are arranged in parallel. In these modules, the ear loops are fed and welded to the mask.

The line is suitable for manufacturing surgical and general medical masks made from 1- or 3-layer PP nonwoven fabric.

System Construction

The basic structure of each cell consists of an aluminium profile system with swing doors made of Makrolon. To ensure the necessary process stability, the stations are mounted on a solid aluminium tabletop. The control cabinets are integrated into the main framework. Among other components, the system is equipped with 3 ultrasonic welding machines, Siemens PLC control, and various Festo pneumatic components.

The machine is currently not in use and was regularly maintained during its operational period.
At present, the machine is in a dismantled state and individual components are stored dust-protected.
