The new cold-regenerating adsorption dryer from Parker Zander combines proven and reliable elements of adsorption technology and impresses with its clear design concept.
Distinctive features of the K-MT adsorption dryer series, such as:
• One-piece manufactured adsorber profiles
• Separately controlled, leak-free main and discharge valves
• Compact non-return valve combination

All K-MT series adsorption dryers are equipped with:
• Self-cleaning screens on the wet side
• High-quality desiccants
During adsorption, the desiccant absorbs the moisture contained in the compressed air.
Parker Zander exclusively uses highly active molecular sieve type desiccant with high capacity.
This desiccant guarantees a long service life even at high inlet temperatures or low pressure dew points.
Regeneration takes place countercurrent to adsorption.
A portion of the dried compressed air is depressurized to atmospheric pressure and passed through the desiccant bed to be regenerated.
The moisture retained during adsorption is discharged with the partial stream of dry regeneration air.
The regeneration air requirement of 14.3% for cold-regenerated adsorption dryers is based on:
Operating pressure: 7 bar
Inlet temperature: 35°C
Pressure dew point: -40°C
for a cycle consisting of:
- 5 minutes adsorption
- 4 minutes desorption
- 1 minute repressurization
The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle, with 5 minutes adsorption, comprises 12 switching operations per hour.
The industry-standard 6-minute cycle, with 3 minutes adsorption, requires 20 switchovers per hour, which inevitably results in 5.6% higher regeneration demand.
The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle saves energy costs and reduces wear.
Multitronic Control System
Equipped with innovative features and a new design, the multitronic is perfectly tailored for the cold-regenerating K-MT series adsorption dryers. It enables highly effective adaptation of the adsorption dryer to widely varying operating conditions. From permanent visual status indicators to dew point control of the adsorption dryer, the advantages for the operator are evident with multitronic.
The multitronic system is housed in a clearly arranged, easily accessible control cabinet and offers:
• A user-friendly microprocessor control for all Parker Zander heatless dryer systems
• Flexible cycle time adjustment
• Front panel LEDs for individual functions, such as
