OctoFrost IQF 7/2 LH tunnel freezer

Octofrost IQF 7/2 LH tunnel freezer on ammonia (NH3), in excellent condition. IQF stands for Individually Quick Freezing and is specifically designed for rapid freezing of smaller food items. This technology helps prevent ice crystal formation within the structure of products like vegetables, berries, cheese, meat, and fish. The freezer is supplied complete with infeed/outfeed conveyors, control cabinets, evaporators, and a Siemens Simatic control panel. Products are placed onto the infeed conveyor at a height of approximately 1560 mm. The products are then transported through the Octofrost by means of a vibratory belt. The belt is equipped with a drop to separate the products and remove excessive surface ice. The belt is approximately 8100 mm long and 850 mm wide. Once the products have reached the target core temperature, they exit at a height of 1250 mm. The freezer is equipped with three inspection hatches, allowing product checks while items are on the belt.

The OctoFrost is equipped with two NH3 evaporators that ensure the products are frozen to the desired core temperature of -18 °C. There are 7 centrifugal fans, each directly driven by ABB M3AA 132 MB electric motors with the following specifications: 50 Hz - 11 kW - 1450 rpm - 630 mm diameter. These fans blow air upwards through openings in the belt, preventing the product from sticking to the belt surface. The side panel is retractable for easy inspection and cleaning of evaporators and fans as needed.

The Octofrost comes with the appropriate control cabinet featuring 7 ABB frequency inverters for the conveyors, 3 Key Technology MFS 268 XL frequency drives for the vibratory movement, and a Siemens control panel for freezer management.
