Ceramic abrasive media are particularly suitable for processing hard materials such as steel, but are also ideal for deburring aluminum components. Due to their higher weight, they exert greater pressure on the workpieces and provide excellent grinding performance. Compared to plastic abrasive media, they are significantly more durable and cost-efficient.

When selecting the appropriate abrasive media, it is important to determine the optimal configuration regarding grinding performance, surface finish, geometry, and size.

- Triangles & Angled-Triangles (D & DS): The edges make them ideal for deburring and for reaching a wide range of complex areas on workpieces.

- Tridents (DZ): Designed to reach hard-to-access areas, such as grooves or gear wheels.

- Cylinders & Angled Cylinders (Z & ZS): Their round shape makes them perfect for even surface treatment, for example in polishing processes. Also, the slim design of cylinders often allows easy separation.

- Ellipses & Angled Ellipses (E & ES): Suitable for polishing and smoothing. Their edges also enable them to reach deeper areas of the workpiece.

- Wings (W): Combine the advantages of triangles and tridents. Their "wings" reach complex areas, while their edges and compact design are optimal for deburring and applying strong pressure to the workpiece.
