This NEWAY NL251HP is a demo machine which, to date, has not yet produced any chips.

A 45° slant bed forms the core of the machine. It is constructed as an extremely stable casting made of meehanite cast iron, with a specially damped sand core integrated into the machine frame. This effectively enhances the performance of the castings and provides even greater vibration-damping properties. Each servo axis is equipped with a silent-noise ball screw and is connected directly to the servomotor via a flexible coupling. This results in high traverse speeds, low noise levels, high positioning accuracy, and excellent repeatability. The servomotor is fitted with an absolute encoder, which ensures the machine is immediately ready for operation upon power-up without the need to home reference points. The positional information will not be lost after power is switched off.
