UniCen Series – For Large, Complex Components

With the Monforts UniCen 1000 series machine tools, you can machine large, complex components (up to 1,500 mm turning length and 1,000 mm swing diameter) completely, process-reliably, and cost-efficiently in a single setup. The high flexibility is achieved by five interpolating axes. The drilling-milling head, rotatable about the B-axis with a swivel range of 190º, brings tools into nearly any position and angle to the workpiece. In addition, the tool head can be fully automatically loaded with up to 60 tools from a chain magazine via a fully automatic tool changer. This allows even complex free-form surfaces to be produced with high surface quality.
