UniCen Series – For large, complex components

With Monforts UniCen Series 1000 machine tools, you can machine large, complex components (up to 1,500 mm turning length and 1,000 mm swing diameter) completely, reliably, and cost-effectively in a single setup. High flexibility is achieved through the five interpolating axes. The drilling-milling head, which can rotate around the B-axis and has a 190º swivel range, positions the tools at virtually any angle and position to the workpiece. In addition, the tool head can be automatically loaded with up to 90 tools from a chain magazine via a fully automated tool changer. This allows even complex free-form surfaces to be machined with high surface quality.
