A complete beam welding line (vehicle frames) by Merkle is available, consisting of a tack welding station, a cooling station, and an automatic long beam welding system. Beam height range: 70mm–500mm, max. beam length: 13,700mm, flange width: 120mm/150mm, flange thickness range: 5mm–20mm, web thickness range: 3mm–10mm, clear width: 85mm–500mm, web offset at 15° transition: 50mm.

1) Welding system, track length: 20m, rotator: 0°–45°, total clamping and tack welding area: 14,300mm, guide rail spacing: 500mm, roller conveyor height: 800mm, welding process: MIG/MAG pulse arc, travel speed: 6m/min, vertical stroke: 800mm, horizontal stroke: 2x270mm, power sources: 2x HighPulse 550 RS, torch: MSB 400W.

2) Tack welding unit, tack welding position: 45°, max. changeover time: 10min.

3) Transport and cooling section, tack welding area roller conveyor length: 15,000mm, buffer and cooling section roller conveyor length: 15,180mm, welding area roller conveyor length: 18,055mm, roller diameter tack/buffer/welding: 80mm/80mm/200mm, roller width: 245mm/245mm/2,200mm.
