Mathis THN 10988 Laboratory Thermosol System

Application
This pad-dryer combination has proven highly effective in practical use. It is utilized for a wide range of hot air treatment processes such as drying, fixing, condensing, thermosoling, etc. This system is employed wherever a certain sample size is required, for example, in the production of sample collections or similar applications.

Dryer THN
To ensure all of the aforementioned applications and if needle frames are also required when operating the dryer individually, the THN version is recommended. The standard needle frames are suitable for a sample size of max. 50 x 50 cm (larger needle frames available on request).

If all of the above-mentioned options are to be covered and the use of needle frames is desired during single dryer operation, the THN version should be preferred. Standard needle frames support samples up to 50 x 50 cm (larger frames upon request).

Options include length-adjustable frames for woven fabrics, length- and width-adjustable material holders for knitted goods and nonwovens, as well as clamping frames for films and paper.

Drying Chamber
The drying chamber, with its electric control box and operating panel, is mounted on a base frame, forming a single unit.

Good thermal insulation is ensured by a double-walled construction with insulation in between.

The 1300 mm long nozzle field is divided into an upper and lower nozzle section. A regulating flap allows adjustment for balanced air distribution top/bottom or more air from above or below.

Fan and Heating
Intensive air circulation is ensured by a high-performance fan (capacity approx. 900–3500 m³/h), combined with a well-matched heating output, resulting in optimal evaporation performance.

A dual safety monitoring system minimizes maintenance and increases the operational safety of the dryer.

Heating output is designed for rapid heat-up and automatically reduces once the desired temperature is reached to avoid unnecessary power peaks.

Temperature control is managed via an electronic measuring and regulating unit within a range of 20–250°C.

Fresh air is supplied directly to the recirculation fan via a separate fan. The required amount is selectable via a step switch.
