Application
This pad-dryer combination has proven highly effective in practical applications. It is used in this configuration for a wide range of hot air treatment processes such as drying, fixing, condensing, thermosoling, etc. The system is utilized wherever a certain sample size is required, for example, to produce sample collections or similar items.

Dryer THN
If you require all of the above-mentioned application possibilities and need to use pin frames when operating the dryer standalone, the THN type is the recommended model. The standard pin frames are suitable for a maximum sample size of 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available upon request).

Frames are available as longitudinally adjustable frames for woven fabrics or as longitudinally and width-adjustable material holders for knitted and warp-knitted fabrics, nonwovens, etc., as well as clamping frames for films and paper.

Drying Chamber
The drying chamber, complete with electrical control cabinet and operator panel, is mounted on a base frame and bolted into a single unit.

Excellent thermal insulation of the dryer is ensured by a double-wall construction with intermediate insulation.

The nozzle field, 1300 mm in length, is divided into an upper and lower section. An adjustment flap allows for uniform airflow from above/below, or for directing more air from above or below as desired.

Fan and Heating
Intensive air circulation is ensured by a high-performance fan (capacity approx. 900–3500 m³/h) combined with a carefully matched heating capacity, resulting in optimal evaporation performance.

A dual-protected monitoring system reduces maintenance requirements and enhances operational safety.

The heating capacity is designed for rapid heat-up; once the desired temperature is reached, it is automatically reduced to avoid unnecessary power peaks.

Temperature control is provided via an electronic measurement and control unit in the range of 20–250°C.

Fresh air is supplied directly to the recirculation fan via a fan. The required amount can be set using a multi-stage switch.
