Mathis Colorstar Junior Dyeing Apparatus CJ-R 8606 Laboratory Dyeing Machine
The Colorstar type "CJ" is a single-position dyeing apparatus designed for use in plant laboratories as well as research institutes.
Dyeing is performed using the wrap-and-pack system in an extraction process, where the dye liquor is circulated through the stationary sample material, with reversible flow direction (inside-outside or outside-inside). The integrated vacuum and pressure pump creates the desired atmosphere in the treatment chamber.
The "CJ" is particularly suitable for dyeing:
- Woven and knitted fabrics in piece form
- Yarns on cross-wound bobbins
- Flocks, fibers, and tops in a dye basket
The liquor flow direction is reversible from inside to outside and vice versa, with adjustable cycle duration.
Liquor ratio approx. 1:8 and higher.
In addition to the round full-visibility dye chamber made of borosilicate glass, the apparatus features the following components:
● Pressure pump for setting a static pressure
● Vacuum pump for degassing the textile material
● Manometer (–1 to +9 bar) for static pressure display of the dyeing vessel
● Safety and vent valve
● Swiveling HT lid
● Connection for lock chamber
● Device for filling, rinsing, and draining
● Integrated cooling (water) and heating (electric)
● Socket for: temperature recording (0 – 140 °C)
Optionally also for:
Flow rate (0 – 5 l/min)
Differential pressure (0 – 5 bar)
pH values (0 – 14)
