MACHINE EFD 3000

The EFD machine we are offering has a capacity of 2000 mm, but once the MF and HF adaptation boxes are installed, this stroke should be limited to approximately 1700 mm. It is equipped with a Siemens 840D CNC, 3 digitized axes (Z, Y 200 mm, C), a double spindle with double tailstock operated by separate controls, 1 MF adaptation box, and 1 HF adaptation box.

The machine's overall height is 4400 mm, and the maximum workpiece weight on the main spindle is 600 kg. The maximum weight per part on the dual spindle is 50 kg each.

The converter uses transistor technology, with a power rating of 300 kW, and is equipped with three frequency ranges: 100 kHz at 200 kW, 3 kHz and 10 kHz at 300 kW.

Parameter control is fully integrated in the Siemens 840D CNC and will monitor: voltage, current, power, MF or HF frequency, quench flow rate via an analog flowmeter, and quench water temperature via a PT 100 probe. A color printer is included. Additionally, a serial interface option is provided to avoid program entry twice (once on the CNC and once on the RTM 100).

SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT:

- 1 galvanically isolated mains transformer 400 V three-phase + earth (for network disturbance reduction and operator safety)
- 1 transistor-based SINAC P M/H converter:
- Power range: 20 to 300 kW
- Frequency range: 3 to 100 kHz
- 1 medium frequency adaptation box with 55 VT 8 transformer
- 1 capacitor bank for 3 kHz
- 1 capacitor bank for 10 kHz
- 1 high frequency adaptation box without transformer
- 1 capacitor bank for 100 kHz
- 1 manual switch for 3 and 10 kHz selection
- 1 manual switch for 100 kHz or 3/10 kHz selection

- 1 standard vertical scanning machine HGL 2000 3-AXIS, equipped with:
- 1 SIEMENS 840D CNC (replaced 3 months ago)
- 1 vertical X axis, approx. 1500 mm stroke, depending on MF/HF adaptation boxes
- 1 horizontal Y axis, 200 mm stroke
- 1 C axis (spindle rotation), workpiece weight up to 600 kg, max workpiece diameter 500 mm (depending on inductor)
- 1 double spindle with double tailstock
- 1 hydraulic quench water circuit with analog flowmeter
- 1 secondary hydraulic quench water circuit without flowmeter, with solenoid valve controlled by the part program (no flowmeter provided)
- 1 simple high frequency inductor interface
- 1 simple medium frequency inductor interface
- 1 operator access door

- Parameter control system RTM 100 standard, integrated in the Siemens 840D CNC, with color printer

- All necessary interconnections for medium, high frequency, and low voltage

- Complete documentation in French (operation and user manuals)

The wide frequency spectrum (low, medium, and high), provided by a single generator, makes this installation exceptionally versatile and rare on the market.

The high output of 300 kW allows the processing of massive workpieces or two parts simultaneously.
