The SBM-L 1000 G1S2, which operates using a dry process, allows for alternating processing of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. It deburrs and rounds the edges of external and internal contours of punched, laser-cut, fine plasma or waterjet-cut workpieces with a thickness of up to 50 mm—on both sides in just one pass.

* Two grinding units, one each on the upper and lower side, remove splatter and light burrs from the external and internal edges of sheet metal parts.
* A total of four abrasive belts, two each on the upper and lower sides, process the sheets simultaneously on both sides. All edges are deburred or rounded depending on the adjustment of the tools.
* Double-sided processing eliminates the need for time-consuming flipping and reworking of the workpieces.
* All unit pairs can be individually switched on/off and adjusted depending on the application.
* Includes Siemens S7 control system:
- User-friendly and intuitive operation via a touch interface
- High operational security with 3 password-protected user levels
- Integrated program memory
- USB / RJ45 interface for data exchange or connection of external components (e.g., barcode scanner)
- Direct entry of material thickness via touch panel
