The robust machine frame made of welded steel construction ensures extremely quiet operation. The two machine bases have an offset to allow sanding of workpieces longer than the machine table. The abrasive belt runs over 3 deflection rollers, providing a maximally accessible working area for the operator, ensuring good handling especially with manual sanding blocks. The belt drive is powered by a three-phase motor with a balanced drive pulley. The belt has adjustable pneumatic tension. The dust collection system is adequately sized to capture the resulting grinding dust and channel it to the extraction nozzle, provided it is connected to a suitable extraction system. For fatigue-free operation, the grinding unit is mounted in backlash-free linear guides. The machine table can be quickly and easily adjusted to the correct workpiece height using the electric table lift. The table lifting guide elements are maintenance-free. For loading, the table can be extended so that workpieces do not have to be pushed under the abrasive belt during placement. The electrical controls for the main functions are user-friendly and centrally located on the machine.

The basic machine is supplied with one initial equipment belt (WxL) 150 x 7100 mm and a contact roller approx. 50° Shore for 150 mm belt width.

Optional accessories:
3-axis table with integrated handling device for rotating and swiveling workpieces.

The handling device is mounted centrally under the insert frame. To use the handling device, the insert frame is removed from the machine table. The handling device is equipped with four vacuum suction cups to hold the workpieces and consists of: The bearing assembly with the rotation axis, which has a brake disc mounted on the rear. The swivel assembly is mounted on the front of the rotation axis and can be locked at 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, and 90°. An additional index plate is mounted on the swivel head to allow fine alignment of the workpiece to the abrasive belt. Unlocking of the rotation and swivel axes is performed pneumatically via foot switches; movement of the rotation axes is manual. Maximum workpiece weight when used as a flat table with insert frame = 80 daN. Maximum workpiece weight when using the handling device (relative to the clamping plate) = 25 daN or 120 Nm (relative to the center of the rotation axes).
