The safety workbench ensures the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility for any procedures performed inside the enclosure (product protection) thanks to its advanced design. At the same time, the safety workbench provides maximum protection for personnel against hazardous and/or pathogenic substances that may be released during work in the enclosure (personnel protection).

A new generation of fans is installed in the safety workbench. As standard, DC motor-driven fans are used, resulting in energy savings of approximately 60 – 70%. This technology offers additional advantages, such as:
- Continuous control of the correct air volume. The airflow is continuously measured and, depending on filter pressure drop, is automatically adjusted to the correct value if necessary.

The airflow velocities in the working area and the front opening are always correct, right up until the filter’s final pressure drop is reached. Deviations due to fan malfunctions or reaching the maximum filter pressure drop are indicated by both visual and audible alarms.

A day/night mode switching function is provided as standard.

- Front sash is not closed

Visual signal when:
- Lighting is switched on
- Night operation is activated
- Acoustic signal is reset
- Front sash is not closed
- Fan or electronic control malfunction
