The Haux Starmed 2200 is a fully operational hyperbaric chamber for oxygen therapy. It is equipped with a modern PLC control station (installed in 2016) and a manual control system. Breathing gas supply is provided by the HAUX-OXYMASTER system with 12 outlets in the main chamber and 2 outlets in the airlock; both oxygen and gas mixtures can be selected.

Patient safety is ensured by safety valves, voice and alarm communication, as well as monitoring cameras and observation windows. Maximum comfort is provided by HAUX-LUXMASTER LED lighting, a cooling and heating system, and locks for transferring objects during operation. The airlock allows transfer of personnel and materials without interrupting the pressure in the main chamber.
