The coordinate drilling machine is equipped with the rare option of powered table drive in both X and Y axes and potentiometer control. Laborious manual positioning over longer distances using handwheels is therefore no longer necessary. It also features the rare option of thermal stabilization and expansion compensation. Two heating units are provided, which must be activated prior to starting work and to maintain high precision and pitch accuracy. This setup ensures the factory-high positioning accuracy of 0.002 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm.

A unique feature is that this Hauser has two Heidenhain digital readouts with a total of four glass scales with 1μm (1 micron) resolution, including for quill feed. This is a major advantage when drilling and planning with high precision in depth, when using Wohlhaupter heads, spindle tools, etc. With these options and in this first-class condition, it is very rare and most likely no longer available on the market in this configuration.
