The SHARC T power source is a TIG welding unit designed for direct current welding (DC version) and both direct and alternating current welding (AC/DC version), based on an innovative arc shaping process developed by Hermann GmbH.

In practice, the SHARC process enables higher welding speeds while simultaneously improving seam quality and reducing ancillary welding costs (less distortion, improved penetration, reduced discoloration of the workpiece, lower hardening of the heat-affected zones, and—if required—elimination of additional filler materials).
