The SDFM-1100 roll-to-roll laminator is a multifunctional lamination machine. It is designed for both hot and cold lamination. Paper is laminated on one side with film, after which the web is rewound onto a roll. For cold lamination, the film is coated with a water-based adhesive and dried using a heated roller with a hot air drying system. The unwinding system feeds the paper into the laminating section, where, through the application of heat and roller pressure, the paper is covered with film. The rollers feature a heated water circulation system with constant temperature control.

The paper roll is held by shafts operated by a pneumatic brake. The paper is unwound into a web aligner equipped with automatic web alignment before lamination, ensuring even coverage of the web with film. In the laminator, uncoated film is coated with a water-based adhesive and then dried with a heated cylinder, or adhesive-coated film is fed directly to the laminating cylinder. The laminating cylinder is heated by induction heaters. Beneath the laminating cylinder, paper is bonded with film through temperature and pressure generated by the lower rubber roller, which presses the film and paper against the laminating cylinder. The laminated web is then wound onto a core in the receiving section, after which it can be transported to subsequent production processes.
