GRAFS CG

The GRAFS CG series grinder is designed for sharpening knives mainly used in the woodworking and recycling industries. The machine is available with two lengths of electromagnetic tables: 1000 mm and 1500 mm (depending on the order).

The grinder features a range of enhancements that ensure high-quality sharpening for many years of use. It is equipped with a rotary electromagnetic holder, and there is also the option to clamp knives using special clamps on the opposite side of the table. The holder has an adjustment range of ±120 degrees. Proper cooling of the sharpened surfaces is ensured by a cooling system with a tank and a magnetic coolant separator with a rotary drum (model MS60). The filter and tank are integrated inside the machine, reducing the overall machine footprint. Our design enables installation on a small surface, which is very convenient.

The grinder is equipped with a standard 4 kW motor. A special workpiece holder, developed by our company, allows for quick and easy removal and mounting of the grinding wheel using just three mounting screws.

The carriage is equipped with premium PWTR roller bearings, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. The carriage runs on hardened steel guide rails.

Additionally, the grinder comes standard with a carriage speed control system (potentiometer and inverter).

The machine is perfectly suited for sharpening blades requiring high rigidity, such as chipper knives, granulator blades, or planer knives.

- Easy grinding wheel infeed using a handwheel (mechanical infeed as an optional extra)
- Simple grinding wheel installation (special holder designed in-house allows quick installation with three clamping screws)
- Efficient grinding of both soft steels and high-hardness materials such as NC11LV, HSS, or WIDIA carbide
- Internal tank with coolant pump (standard)
- Rigid and robust, vibration-free design: welded frame from 10 mm plates with internal ribbing for rigidity; carriage and trolley made from 20 mm thick steel plates
- 4 kW grinding wheel motor (equipped with special reinforced spindle bearings to eliminate axial play)
- Strong electromagnetic holder, available in 1000 mm or 1500 mm
- Table with T-slot for securing knives with clamping brackets (e.g., for mounting 4 knives simultaneously)
- Ability to use any type of grinding wheel (CBN, DIA, Segment) from 175 to 200 mm diameter
- Smooth carriage speed adjustment from 1 to 12 m/min (via potentiometer dial)

The CG grinder is a 100% Polish product built exclusively with European components. The machine comes with all necessary electrical tests, a Polish language manual, and a declaration of conformity.
