The DMG Gildemeister Sprint 42 Linear is specifically designed for automated turning operations.
Featuring two workpiece spindles, six linear axes, and optionally two C axes, it enables simultaneous machining on the main and counter spindles. Maximum bar capacity is 42 mm, with a high spindle speed of up to 6,500 rpm.

Technical features:
Axes & Slides: Travel distances X1 = 65 mm, Z1 = 350 mm, Y1 = 120 mm, with rapid traverse up to 30 m/min. The second slide offers X2 = 326 mm, Z2 = 320 mm, Y2 = 265 mm, and rapid traverse at 30 m/min (X2/Z2) or 18 m/min (Y2).

Tool capacity: Turret with 26 stations; accommodates both fixed turning tools and driven tools for milling and threading operations.

IEMCA Boss 545-E Bar Feeder (Type 32 LL, Year 2007)

The included bar feeder significantly facilitates series production.
It is designed for bar stock up to 42 mm diameter, weighs approx. 860 kg, and operates on 400 V/50 Hz; required compressed air connection: 6 bar.
