Quicker beveling machine utilizing the rotary shear method for beveling technology.
These QUICKER machines operate according to the rotary shear process. In this method, a long chip is sheared off the sheet metal edge by means of a slowly rotating cutting wheel. This enables processing speeds of up to 3.1 m/min (up to 5 times faster than conventional methods).
Efficiency is further increased by the low wear on the tooling. This process is among the most efficient methods for weld seam preparation. Cost savings compared to conventional procedures amount to up to 75%.
Fast, compact, handy, and with infinitely variable angle adjustment from 15° to 55°, this machine belongs to the most popular beveling machines. The practical scissor-lift trolley can be adjusted for support height across a wide range, allowing the machine to move easily along stationary sheet panels. Of course, the Quicker II can also be operated on a crane.
For underside beveling, the machine is rotated by 180°. The boreholes on the top match those on the machine feet. Many customers have ordered two machines directly: one for upper and one for underside beveling.
Spare parts are quickly available, and consumables such as cutting wheels for steel and stainless steel are kept in stock.
