Frigoscandia FloFreeze MX62

Frigoscandia FloFreeze MX62 IQF Tunnel Freezer on NH3 (ammonia) in good condition. Designed for rapid, individual product freezing, suitable for items such as vegetables, berries, shrimp, and pasta. Supplied complete with infeed/outfeed, shaker, optional glazing conveyor, evaporators, electrical cabinets, Danfoss frequency converters, and Siemens TP1200 Comfort HMI (renewed in 2020).

Products are placed on the infeed shaker (approx. 1200 mm high), where they are separated and de-clumped. They then enter the freezer via a blue plastic conveyor belt. The belt is approx. 7400 mm long and 1190 mm wide and features a decline mechanism to redistribute products and to remove any excess ice. Discharge height is 912 mm. The optional Innotec Systems glazing conveyor can apply a protective ice glaze.

The MX62 features two NH3 evaporators and six centrifugal fans, each driven by an ABB M2AA160MA-2 motor (50 Hz, 13.2 kW, 2897 rpm). Cold air is blown through the conveyor to prevent products from sticking. Evaporators can be defrosted using heated air via spray nozzles. The freezer is equipped with three inspection hatches.

Supplied with the original electrical control cabinets, frequency converters, and Siemens control system.
