Emmegi Quadra L1

The QUADRA L1 consists of an automatic loading magazine and a clamp-type feed system for profile lengths of up to 7,500 mm. The feed unit transports the profile bar to the machining unit, which is equipped with six spindle motors capable of performing drilling and milling operations all around the profile. The sawing module is three-axis and equipped with a 600 mm diameter saw blade. The finished machined part is conveyed from the machining area to the outfeed table by means of an unloading unit, where it is transported to the removal position by powered belts. The machining area is fully enclosed and can optionally be fitted with sound-absorbing panels for noise reduction.

The automatic loading magazine has a capacity for up to 15 profiles with a width of 100 mm each. Profiles are conveyed to the gripper position via a belt conveyor.

Automatic 3-axis CNC feed unit. Based on profile data, the unit positions itself at a pick-up location according to length and profile cross-section, in order to feed the bar into the machining process.

The clamp gripper holds the profile bar at a predetermined position as specified in the technical drawing.

A 600 mm saw blade, with 3-axis movement capability, enables coverage of a large cutting area.
