The NK grinding program allows for quick and optimal processing of workpieces with different machining dimensions. Depending on the workpiece, you can select between a surface grinding and plunge grinding cycle. An integrated measuring system with 0.001 mm measuring accuracy detects the grinding wheel infeed and, together with its follow-on electronics, controls the automatic grinding cycle. This cycle consists of various adjustable infeed increments of the grinding wheel. The infeed stops automatically upon reaching the required dimension of the workpiece; the spark-out time is adjustable, and the grinding wheel and machine table can be reset to the starting position.

The dressing amount of the grinding wheel is automatically compensated and displayed on the digital readout of the Y-axis. Any wear on the wheel caused by grinding is compensated for during the dressing process.
