Construction and technology

The CORMAK MM3156C drum sander has been developed for industrial applications. The reinforced sanding spindle design, along with high-quality bronze bushings and conveyor belt tensioners, guarantees long service life and backlash-free, stable operation. The reinforced clutch ensures efficient torque transfer from the 1.5 kW motor to the working shaft. The machine offers infinitely variable feed adjustment from 0–3 m/min, allowing adaptation of the working speed to the type of material and the degree of sanding required.

The table guiding system, equipped with hardened rails and a cast iron base, effectively eliminates vibrations and increases overall rigidity. The 560 mm working width and a maximum workpiece height of 80 mm make this sander an optimal solution for both batch production and precise one-off jobs.

Precision and performance

The CORMAK MM3156C through-feed sander ensures industrial-level precision thanks to a design focused on rigidity, guiding accuracy, and vibration damping. The minimum workpiece thickness is 3.5 mm, with a minimum length of 600 mm. The sanding drum, measuring 133 × 560 mm, enables exact and even removal of stock in layers up to 0.5 mm. The Ø100 mm extraction outlet allows for connection to dust collection systems, maintaining a clean working environment.
