Construction and technology

The CORMAK MM3146 model is distinguished by its robust, industrial-grade construction. The main motor, with a power of 1.5/2.2 kW (S1/S6), combined with a reinforced feed drive (60 W), ensures sufficient power reserve for intensive, continuous operation. The variable feed speed system (0–4 m/min) enables adjustment of processing speed to the type of material and the desired finish quality.

The sanding belt, measuring 2100 × 75 mm, is driven by a high-speed shaft (2,800 rpm), enabling fast and efficient stock removal. The sanding drum self-cools during operation, eliminating the risk of surface overheating. The side fence has been further reinforced to improve parallelism and sanding stability across the entire working width.

Precision and work efficiency

The CORMAK MM3146 drum belt sander guarantees repeatable results thanks to its mechanical height adjustment system with an accurate scale. Minimum processed thickness is 3.5 mm, and the maximum is 100 mm, allowing for machining both thin plates and massive structural elements. The working width of 460 mm in a single pass (or 920 mm with double feed) provides productive flexibility, even for large production batches.
