A refrigeration compressed air dryer is designed to lower the temperature of compressed air and remove water and oil particles contained in the airflow. Refrigeration dryers are essential in applications where humid air could cause corrosion, contamination, or damage to tools, machines, or products. 1. Air-to-air heat exchanger

In the first stage of the process, the inlet air passes through a heat exchanger, where it is pre-cooled by the colder air leaving the evaporator. By utilizing a counterflow configuration, heat recovery increases the overall system’s energy efficiency.

2. Refrigeration circuit evaporator

In the second stage, the compressed air enters the evaporator, where it is cooled down to the dew point temperature of 3°C. This results in the condensation of contained water vapor and oil particles.

3. Condensate separator

After cooling, the gas and condensate mixture enters an efficient separator, where the condensate is separated and automatically discharged from the unit.

4. Fan control system

The variable-speed fan technology enables intelligent adjustment of the cooling intensity to actual demand, reducing energy consumption and increasing component lifespan.
