The CORMAK 410 x 1500 industrial metal lathe features a robust cast iron bed construction. It is equipped with a 16-speed gearbox and a dual-range induction motor (2.2/3.3 kW), providing maximum torque. Recommended for machining hard steels and for mechanical turning operations. It can be utilized for a wide range of tasks, including internal and external surface turning, taper turning, polishing, metric and imperial threading, drilling, and broaching.

The rigid cast iron bed ensures maximum vibration reduction. The bed is additionally hardened and precisely ground.

Digital readout operates on three movement axes: longitudinal, transverse, and upper carriage. The processed electronic signal from optical scales displays movement values along the axes directly on the digital screen.

The lathe is fitted with a high-quality, reinforced spindle bearing system.

Optimal performance is ensured by the large 52 mm spindle bore.

The spindle gearbox features hardened and ground gears.

The 250 mm bed width provides stable and precise machining conditions.

Equipped with a leadscrew and a feed shaft for threading as well as automatic longitudinal and cross feeds.

Easy speed and automatic feed adjustment via the ergonomic control panel on the gearbox.

A wide range of thread turning is possible without the need to change gears in the gear train. Thread types include: metric (42) 0.2 – 14 mm/rev, imperial (42) 2 – 72 TPI, module (18) 0.3 – 3.5 mm, DP thread (21) 8 – 44 DP. Right-hand and left-hand threading available.

The threading dial allows precise thread pitch counting. This function saves time, enabling the operator to disengage the leadscrew nut within several passes and manually return the carriage to its original position quickly.

The bed features a removable gap bridge, allowing machining of larger diameter workpieces such as discs. This lathe model enables processing of workpieces up to a maximum diameter of 580 mm with the gap bridge removed.
