Specifications
The ClearO2 W100 is designed as a complement to Translas 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction units. By pairing the extraction torches of the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction systems with the ClearO2 W100, up to 90–98% of welding fumes are captured directly at the source and filtered with an efficiency of > IFA 99.8%. Due to its light weight—only 45 kg—and its four wheels (two of which are lockable), the compact unit is perfectly suited for relocation within the workspace.
Automatic Cleaning

The ClearO2 W100 features an automatic cleaning mechanism via reverse air pulse. When the vacuum pressure in the filter becomes too high, the system automatically initiates filter cleaning. Manual cleaning can also be started at the press of a button. An automatic start/stop function for energy savings and synchronization with the 8XE MIG and 8XR MIG Cobot extraction units comes as standard in ClearO2 units. As soon as the torch is removed from the specially designed holder, the machine starts operating automatically.
Continuous Duty Motor
The unit’s electric motor is designed for continuous operation without loss of performance. Due to the automatic cleaning function and simplified motor system, maintenance requirements are minimal, making the device both durable and time-efficient. With a filter area of 5 m², this is one of the most efficient devices in its size class—offering the largest filter available. The filter is a disposable type and provides an active surface area rated at: IFA >99.8% efficiency.
Lightweight and Mobile
ClearO2 W100 units are designed with the needs of a single welder who needs to change workplace locations in mind. Applications include shipbuilding, wind tower construction, tank construction, and other similar manufacturing industries. The four wheels with two locks and the low weight—just 45 kg—allow the welder to easily move the device to the next workstation.
