Carel HeaterSteam UR020HL10S Isothermal Steam Humidifier

The Carel HeaterSteam UR020HL10S is an isothermal steam humidifier. It generates steam by heating elements that are immersed in a steam cylinder filled with water. Either regular tap water or fully demineralized water can be used. The heat produced by the elements heats the water up to a temperature of 100°C.

Steam Distribution

To ensure optimal performance of the humidifier, the produced steam must be evenly distributed in the room to avoid the formation of droplets and condensate accumulation. This can be achieved either with ventilated steam distributors or steam lances. The choice of steam distributor depends on the space into which the steam is to be introduced. For direct room humidification (in rooms, production halls, etc.), ventilated steam distributors (optional) with a motorized fan should be used. If, however, the steam distribution is to be performed in ducts or HVAC systems, steam lances must be used, which utilize the velocity of the passing air for humidification.
