For these applications, more cost-effective materials such as 1.4408 or 1.4571 are better suited.

Attention!!
The pump does NOT have explosion protection certificates.
It is also not possible to replace the motor, as this is a special long shaft motor.
The mechanical seal also does NOT have EX certificates!

The pump is made of the special alloy Alloy 59!!
This alloy is used when conventional chromium-nickel steels are no longer sufficient in terms of corrosion resistance.
In particular, it is used where chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion, as well as stress corrosion cracking, are problematic.

Alloy 59 is used for: Environmental technology, chemical industry (chemical processes with oxidizing and reducing acids, resistance to moist chlorine gas), and waste incineration plants. Type 2.4605 is mainly used in the chemical industry, pulp and paper industry, and in flue gas desulfurization plants.

Excellent resistance against mineral acids such as nitric, phosphoric, sulfuric, and hydrochloric acids, and particularly against sulfuric/hydrochloric acid mixtures.
