BHK-TECH MW50-2V Microwave System

System and Function Description

Microwave system consisting of two MW50 V microwave modules, one internal roller conveyor, and two external roller conveyors.

The primary microwave chamber is made of 3 mm stainless steel sheet and is equipped on the sides with fixed-mounted control cabinet segments. These segments house the high-frequency components, which are installed behind mechanically and electrically secured covers.

The roller conveyor system for pallet transport within the unit is manufactured in a microwave-shielded design.

The microwave unit is equipped with a total of 32 magnetrons, which deliver energy directly into the chamber’s interior.

This technology ensures uniform energy distribution inside the chamber.

The magnetrons are only ready for operation when the door is closed and tightly sealed.

A sealing system at the door opening prevents microwave leakage radiation.

Exhaust of any generated vapors is handled by 2 exhaust fans with a total capacity of 17,000 m³/h (free blowing).

The necessary cooling of the high-frequency components is provided by airflow from the exhaust fans, assisted by 4 supply air fans (free blowing capacity approx. 3,500 m³/h each).

There is a roller conveyor with its own drive located in front of the system.

Pallets are manually loaded and unloaded by the customer.

Sensors check whether the pallet is correctly positioned on the roller conveyor. The program is started via a switch at the control panel. The loaded pallet is transported into the microwave unit and positioned by a light barrier.

The doors of the microwave unit close and the microwave processing begins.

Once the microwave process is complete, the door opens and the pallet is transported onto the unloading roller conveyor.

Magnetron operating times can be preset in four power levels on the main control panel.
