The GB 55 SK NC VARIO drill, equipped as standard with a large cross table and a 2-axis digital readout, enables not only drilling but also precise milling operations. Automatic spindle feed and a tapping function significantly enhance the machine’s capabilities. Stepless spindle speed regulation in the range of 55–2200 rpm, combined with robust construction and large drilling parameters, make this model highly suitable for serial or industrial production. The NC version is equipped with a programmable controller for setting parameters such as drilling depth, spindle speed, and offers automatic tapping functions. Drilling capacity: 50 mm, tapping up to M42.
