Horizontal cartoner for inserting products into folding cartons, including hot melt glue module for box sealing. Suitable for a wide variety of products (solid items) such as tubes, bottles/vials, ampoules, vials, blister packs, cosmetic jars, vacuum-packed foodstuffs. In addition to the product, a brochure or package insert (e.g. instructions for use, manual, etc.) can be inserted. The fully automatic packaging process includes product feeding, carton erecting, product insertion, brochure/package insert insertion, carton closing, gluing and downstream conveying. Rapid format changeover within the specified range to different carton sizes is achieved simply by parameter adjustment (no tool or tray changes required). PLC control, touchscreen operator monitor (menu available in various languages, e.g., English, German, etc.).
