AMIS ARS 1200

The AMIS twin-shaft shredder features a robust, CNC-machined cutting chamber that is fully bolted for easy maintenance. The machine housing and bearings are protected by wear rings and plates. Geared motors drive the two hexagonal working shafts, which can be equipped with various interchangeable cutting discs. The working shafts are mounted in large, SKF spherical roller bearings with lifetime lubrication. Optionally, an automatic, battery-powered continuous lubrication system can be installed for the main bearings.

Features
Changing the wear plates and scrapers does not require disassembly of the machine housing. Thanks to the horizontally split bearing plates, the rotors, including bearings, can be quickly removed or installed from above. Rotor changes with different cutting tools are therefore simple and fast. The cutting chamber size can be easily modified due to the bolted housing design, with adjustments possible to the motor configuration, gearbox size, installation position, and rotor speed.

Electrical Control
Operation is via a modern Siemens S7/1200 control unit with an advanced 7-inch touchscreen display. Both gear motors feature load-dependent reversing control. Three different control programs are selectable depending on material and application.
