Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the Organic Waste Ordinance (BioAbfV)
Ideal for biowaste separation: Effortlessly meet the legal 1% threshold!

From May 2025, organic waste may only be processed if the contaminant content is below 1.0 wt.%. Our Lepton 5100 has been specifically designed for this requirement.

Advantages of the Lepton 5100: Separation instead of shredding

Gentle bag opening: Waste bags are reliably opened without shredding. A pre-shredder (slow speed) is not required!

Maximum film size: Films remain mostly intact and are efficiently screened out during the first screening stage before being fragmented during composting through turning, heat, and UV exposure.

Highest purity: Prevents microplastics in the process and ensures end product quality.

Process Innovation (flexible control):

Biowaste processing (2-fraction): Reversible mid-size belt homogenously combines mid and fine fractions. Result: Clean target fraction for anaerobic digestion/composting plus an oversized fraction with film/contaminants.

Compost refinement (3-fraction): Separates premium compost, structural material, and energy wood. The ballistic effect separates stones, glass, and hard plastics via the stone fraction belt. Integrated air separators remove the last film residues.

Current operational area: Successful biowaste processing for wet fermentation. The machine delivers a contaminant-free, homogeneous fraction for the fermenter, thus preventing floating or sinking layers.

Inspection & Demonstration: Inspection during live operation at our partner site in the Kelheim district is possible. Processes can be directly discussed with the plant operator.
