2-in-1 Pipe Notcher

The new AL150HS features a belt speed of 45 m/s thanks to its unique gearbox. When the tailgate is opened, the pipe notcher can also be used as a belt grinder, making it ideal for deburring polished profiles. The AL150HS can be operated with two handwheels or with a lever—both options are available on the machine. With the AL150HS, you can notch materials from Ø20 to Ø114.3 mm. The cross support and the carriage with swiveling clamp are infinitely adjustable, allowing all tube profiles to be ground at any required angle from 20° to 90°. With the AL150HS from ALMI, you can process square, rectangular, and round tubes with various wall thicknesses and all common materials. The ALMI belt adjustment system makes it even easier to set the grinding belt using the supplied hex key. The grinding belt can be quickly tensioned and the contact wheels can be changed within seconds.

High-speed Notching

Thanks to recent developments, ALMI has been able to achieve a grinding speed of 45 m/s with the redesigned AL150HS. This results in longer belt life since faster grinding generates less heat in the material, causing less discoloration and less fine dust.
